I bought this Amy Butler pattern for making a Honey Bun pouf months ago. Perhaps last spring?
I looked longingly at the pretty Poufs on the front of the pattern packaging from time to time as I was in-between other projects, working a full-time job, and moonlighting at another part-time job in the evenings. I photographed the materials list on the back and opened the image on my phone periodically while at different fabric stores, working my way toward accumulating all of the required items needed to construct the Pouf, as finances and time provided.
I’d talked about making them on innumerable occasions. I mentioned the Pouf on my website’s main page as a ‘coming soon’ feature last summer. The anticipation has been epic.
And then, this week, I opened the pattern and read it.
This was one of most time consuming projects that I have ever undertaken, but it is my hope (and my experience) that the first time with any new project is the hardest and the longest, and future reconstuctions will likely be smoother and faster! I will definitely be making a few adjustments in my upcoming Pouf endeavors, but I absolutely Love the way that this one turned out!
A fun and modern accessory for every household, adding color and whimsy to a functional seat for gathering and game playing or stretching out and getting grounded on the floor, this Pouf is a great treat every body!

I love it. The fabrics are gorgeous! It is also a conversation piece – plus being functional.
The shape is so dramatic!
